The Space Between

Office romance, anyone?

I, for one, am totally against it.

Work is stressful enough in itself. Why go through the hassle of mixing it up with love? Plus the hassle of running into your significant other in the office hallway can be quite distracting.

May be this kind of set up would work better for married spouses but not for couples who are just dating. Wedded bliss comes with its own baggage, wife included.

Girls might be into the whole togetherness thing. But most guys would prefer not to have their girlfriends as officemates. It simply prevents us from flirting.

Over dinner with friends, they kept teasing me about hooking up with some chicks from the office. I frowned on the idea.

A perfect Raft3r relationship is based on distance. The less we see of each other, the better.

kaya nga siguro for most companies bawal na bawal talaga. you pointed the reason well, lalo na sa flirting im sure yan talaga ang gusto ng mga guys hahahaha.

Funny how I agree with your stance on office romances, but still manage to fall in bed with a coworker every now and again.

I think I take much more of the male stance on the situation than the female need affection and togetherness view on how relationships work.

Gertrude ;)
Even saying relationships right there made me want to vomit in my mouth a little bit ;)

I am all for the no-stress-see-you-when-I-want-to kind of dating.

Finding a partner who enjoys the same is a bit difficult though and I just try not to stumble upon the breakable boys in my dating adventures.

The less you see each other the better? Ummm, depende sa maraming bagay. (,") I agree with what Vannie said, that space is ok but distance is another thing. Trust me, hehehe.

Ang mahirap sa office romance, pagchichismisan kayo sa office.

I agree with you!..Kasi magsasawa lang kayong dalawa pag magkasama pa kayo sa work hehehe...Mas maganda ma-challenge yung tipong mami-miss nyo yung isa't isa kasi di kayo nagkikita parati...It works for me and my hubby =). I mean para pareho kayo mag-grow up ng magkahiwalay. I mean its okay to see your partner often but not in the work too heheheh...

Raft3r said...

ar-dee-see, Everything is relative. Right?

jella, Mas maganda kung hindi talaga kayo nagkikita. Nyahaha

wendy, Tama ka dyan. Tsismis galore yan. Hehe

pixie27, Absence makes the heart go fonder. Ika nga!

hehe! nope, you'll be fine kasi sa photo lang tayo nagkapareho hindi sa text:) Naku, pag tumibok puso mo, don't think twice dahil lang officemate mo sya. If you're after the thrill, gawa ka ng away once in a while para di kayo magpansinan hahaha!:) Joke, don't take that advice.

My opinion - I'd prefer not to have an intimate relationship with a co-worker sa office...nor thought of finding a lifetime partner at work...
