We all know social networking is a numbers game.
The number of friends you have in Facebook and Friendster is a testament of how popular you are.
This twisted notion is probably the main reason why you accept friend requests from people you don’t even know in real life.
What pisses Raft3r off is when someone deletes him from their friends’ list for no apparent reason whatsoever.
I know. It’s nothing personal. But no one deletes Raft3r without just cause.
I have no interest whatsoever in the private affairs of others. I got my own life to live.
But Facebook, after all, is a numbers game. A deletion is still a fatal blow.

I'd prefer to have few friends on my account on Friendster, Multiply and Facebook as long as I know all of them. These sites, for me, serve as a means of communication more than as a gauge of popularity. :p

Ikaw na nga nagsabi, mdaming nag-add sa isang tao sa Facebook, without even knowing kung sino ung ina-add nila. E bka un ang nangyari sa yo. In-add ka then dinelete ka after kasi narealize niya na di ka niya kilala.

anyway, I have a Facebook account pero di ko naman naaasikaso e, gusto ko snang maki-in dito pero ni wla akong time magbukas. Pero add kita agad pag mejo nagkatime ha? Ikaw pa! :)

Social networking is a numbers game and an excuse to know about other people's lives and to let other people know about our lives.
What is funny is that some people invite and accept so many people and then they apply those privacy settings restricting access to some people.
Not only are we content to use these social networking sites to know about people and people to know us, but some people actually want to know who view their profile.
If that isn't a testament of popularity contest, I do not know what is!
