Pinoy Ako

Reasons why Pinoys won’t succeed:

- We lack discipline.
- Crab mentality is part of our culture.
- We do not learn form past mistakes.
- We vote not based on merit but on popularity.
- We are a tsismis (gossip) loving nation.
- We have no road etiquette.
- Our politicians are corrupt and selfish.
- We complain a lot but lack the initiative to make a change.
- The justice system seldom works.
- We embrace the “Bahala Na” (leave it to fate) attitude.

Reasons why Pinoys can overcome anything:

- We are resilient.
- Religion and spirituality play huge parts in our day to day life.
- We are utterly optimistic.
- We find humor in everything.
- Resourcefulness and creativity run in our DNA.
- We are always hopeful.
- We are survivors.
- Utang na loob (reciprocity) is a highly regarded trait.
- We have strong family ties.
- In times of dire need, the “Bayanihan Spirit” (altruism) is alive and well.

Which side are you on?

sakit talaga ng pinoy yan and they always blame the leaders of the country. daming nagsasabi na corrupt daw ang mga nasa pwesto pero sila panay bili ng pirated dvds. di ba corrupt din yon?

I'd like to say I'm on the positive side, but that would be lying. I hate that our leaders steal with impunity. Ang kakapal ng mukha. Grrr...

That list of reasons for why Pinoys won't succeed actually applies to ALL nations.

Growing pains for a nation that is only 110 years old.

being positive starts from ourselves.. whether we are surrounded by negative people or not, to do what is right will always triumph in the end.. proud to be pilipino, palaging positibo! :)

everybody is capable of being on both sides. if only 60-70% of us practice the traits sa good side, the personal efforts will become a collective one that's truly influential for the whole country.

puwede pong paki-analyze na lang kung saan side ako?
Pinoy ako kasi...
-nila-lock ko ang discipline
- i learn from my mistakes pero hanggang mind lang yon walang practice
-bat ko naman iboboto ang hindi ko kilala?
- hindi lahat ng changes ay nakakabuti
-I embrace bahala na si Batman hehehe, sungab sa oportunidad.

- minsan ang pagiging optimistic nagiging unrealistic
-sorry wala akong ka-humor-humor
-at yang Utang na loob na yan sinasabi pag naiinis na di ba?
"Utang na loob naman, linisin mo naman ang bahay mo!" hehehe

whatchu think?

Raft3r said...

hoshi, You are in a league all by yourself. Hehe
