What How When Where Why Who

There’s trouble in paradise.

Globe, Raft3r’s mobile phone provider, has reached new heights of foolishness. I wanted to use foul words. But my mom taught me better than that.

My iPhone postpaid subscription was temporary cut off since next month’s phone bill has allegedly reached P13000 ($266)!

The culprit? Globe blames it on net surfing. Raft3r calls it crazy.

Who in their right mind would spend 13 grand on internet browsing alone? Seriously, who does that?

Raft3r has WiFi at home. So why bother using the iPhone for internet connection.

What is even more astonishing is the fact I had my 3G disabled since day 1. Baffling, isn’t it?

The Globe customer representative Raft3r spoke with spilled the beans. A lot of other iPhone subscribers experienced the same dilemma. Apparently, it’s a glitch in their system. Of course, Globe will not admit to this.

Those idiots from Globe will not reinstate my iPhone connection until I pay the bill. Raft3r refuses to pay for something he did not even use.

Who would be the first to cave in? Let the battle begin.

Waah I bet mas mahal pa sa electric bill nyo ang iphone bill mo. Sobra namang sugapa sa pera yang Globe. Mali na nga nila isisisi at ipapasa pa sa subscribers nila. Gatong eh 'no?:D Seriously, di mo talaga dapat bayaran.

When I first got my iPhone, I was unaware of that as well. I paid like triple the price on my monthly subs - expensive than the normal long distance call. It is really cool to use Safari in your iPhone to browse around the net so minsan nakakalimutan mo na pala na out of the blue, ndi ka na naka wifi. I even made this big scene in the phone shop about the fees but I learned my lesson, 'ask first before hitting enter button'. At the end, I just have to pay the price.

Now I signed up for the unlimited usage, that way, I can browse via my iPhone 24/7 worry-free.

Browsing from Kengkay (for free).

That's a load of BullCrap! Why are they making you pay for something that's not even your fault? I say, stand your ground. Hopefully they fix it and reinstate the phone.

Buti na lang I have unlimited usage on my Blackberry. I've been surfing on it when I'm too lazy to use my computer, like when I'm laying down on my bed. Otherwise, my bill will probably be higher than yours!
