If Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin (so they say) is the highest grossing local film of all time, what does that say about the Filipino movie-going audience?
it shows how interested we are in gay humor...nothing wrong with that of course. The film itself though, as a whole, was a total waste of my time...really?? top grossing??? well, what do you expect? most Filipinos ay mababaw ang kaligayahan! buti na lang I just downloaded the movie from torrent!...babe

I think Filipinos have lost their sense of discernment. I have nothing against homosexuals. I believe they need guidance and help. They need friends and family to guide and love them and to bring them back. No matter how these people look like or dress up or behave, they are still either man or woman. And that’s it. However I am wary over patronizing acts of homosexuality. All the more a movie about them. Homosexual tendencies are understandable. It is the acts of homosexuality that is not right may it be from the perspective of Faith or humanity’s survival.
When people watch movies like this, it is in a way supporting their acts of homosexuality. It is in a way a showcase of acceptability to acts of homosexuality. And I don’t agree with it.
I don’t have to elaborate why. The pros and cons are obvious to the critical mind.
