The Bitch Is Back

My dear President is at it again.

Gloria is soon heading to North American for an official visit. She sure loves to travel.

The Philippine President recently made headlines when one of her henchmen declared on national television that she would not be paying a visit to newly elected US President Barack Obama.

Apparently, Barack refused to answer Gloria’s phone calls on the day he won the election. Being true to form, GMA retaliated by not doing a courtesy call with the next leader of the free world.

Raft3r may not be a master in international relations. But I guess common decency is still widely practiced worldwide. One word: diplomacy.

There goes our so-called strong ties with the US.

On the side: News is Makati Mayor Binay is running for the top national post in 2010. Supporters named him the Pinoy Obama. Huh? Besides their skin tone, Raft3r couldn’t see any other similarity between the two.

Our leaders have been kissing the sweet posteriors of Republican presidents for way too long. It's about time they learned a thing or two about getting along with each other, regardless of political party lines.

Oh, what am I talking about? Party lines are nonexistent in this country.

And Binay, the next Obama? Please. I didn't realize change in the Philippines meant replacing a corrupt leader with someone whose corruption makes previous corrupt leader look like a newborn!

Up to when is her presidential term again? Can't wait to see her go. She's been getting on my nerves since, like, forever.

Ano nga ba mapapala ni Obama if sinagot nya ang phonecall ni GMA? Couldn't really blame him if he chose to ignore her calls hehehe.
Re Binay, I can't see Obama in him too. He's brown but so what? Big deal:(

Obama with his clean image wouldn't want to be associated with GMA who would go down in Philippine history as the most corrupt leader.

Binay for President? This country's going nuts.

as much as i'd want to comment on politics or about the post, i really just don't have any political bone in my body. politics make me sleepy, which makes me the complete opposite of a certain relative of mine...

I don't even see the similarity in the skin of Barack Obama and Jejomar Binay. The former's a hell lot cleaner. It's a shame the Philippines houses childish leaders. What was Arroyo thinking, anyway? Katangkaran ba sya to act that way?

Den, if you have time please take a peek at http://www.payperbiz.com, it's my work related blog:)

I was compelled to change Sonnet to Payperbiz that's why even if I'm signed in as Sonnet, Payperbiz appears.
