September, for most Pinoys, is the start of the Christmas Season.
For Raft3r, September means something else. It’s the month when HUGE expenses come to haunt me.
On September 08, 2006, I purchased a car – by impulse.
At that time, I was amazed as to how affordable buying a car was. The monthly payment was the mere cost of a mobile phone. It was that cheap. So I thought.
Three years later, I struggle to make ends meet. It was a mistake to buy a car I don’t even need. In fact, the car I bought is seldom used.
Insurance, registration, and monthly amortization were all due first week of September. I had to shell out close to $550.
Raft3r is now dead broke.
Note to self: Impulse buying is no longer a luxury I could afford.

to be broke and to struggle to make ends meet are uso. conventional ka lang kunyari...walang extrang pera ang maraming tao, why should you have extra money? hehe.

Taureans are practical cheapsk -- er, frugal natives of the zodiac. you can't help it. my college classmate just informed me kanina that he was bound for russia today. i asked him why the let-down face? turned out that the trip cost him so much expenses. typical taurean. i can't relate to his see-saw mentality, but i'd love to let you taureans know that once you are on the see-saw, you just have to know that you have another playmate on the other side of the plank. case in point: you need help with that.

Hi friend! Nów i understand the reason for your stat message in fb. Nkakainip nga ding antayin matapos ang car amort... Lalo na if the thing you bought is not being used to the max! Kaya ako learned my lesson... Dont want to amortize again unless really needed. I guess the reason for buying my 2008 car in cash... But sometimes naisip ko sana I didnt replace my old car with a new one. Instead i should have used the money for building a new house... Oh well asa huli lagi ang pagsisi. Nonetheless i love my car!
