My best friend is a jumper.He is suicidal.
Every time he is faced with a problem his solution is to jump off a building. Well, that and a few other surprises.
But he has never been successful at killing himself. After all, he is still alive.
To celebrate the Holiday Season, he decided to stop eating entirely.
I should have known better. All the telltale signs were present. Raft3r texted and called him on Christmas. He didn’t reply to either.
On the last day of the 2009, I was informed of his condition. I hurriedly rushed him to the emergency room.
The doctor said he was all stressed out.
It does get tiring saving him all the time. He never learns.

I also have a friend like that. She cuts her wrists pag me problem siyang she thinks she cannot solve. I just can't imagine how people can think of taking one's own life without fear. Fear of the after effect and fear for Our Creator.
My friend changed na. She's okay now, khit me mga problems, wla nang suicidal tendencies. I hope maging ok na din un friend mo. Nakakapagod at nakakatakot na din minsan having to think about him. Pero that's what friends are for: being there. Take care, too!
i know someone like that. but instead of asking him to go to a shrink, I DID.
because for the heck of it, i didn't know how to handle the sonofabitch.
it helped that I sought help. it enabled me to see things clearly, instead of putting the burden on him, because he was too damn helpless.
sometimes it helps if we REALLY put on the other person's shoes.
