Raft3r has gone prepaid.Ever since my laptop’s WiFi driver conked out on me months ago, I have resorted to prepaid internet connection.
Man, does it suck - BIG TIME.
Let me give you a concrete example.
I was online for 14 hours straight just to download the new OS 4 for my iPhone 3GS.
After 14 grueling hours, I was not even able to complete the download. Internet connection was too slow that iTunes kept shutting down.
For the entire duration of the download, I came close to closing the deal and only for the internet connection to die down at 90% completion.
For 14 hours, all I could do was wait and the end result wasn’t even to my liking.
Damn you, Smart Bro.

yes it's indeed a matter of location. but still i don't recommend those prepaid ones --- all of them are the same!!!!
my recommendation though... buy a new laptop or try fixing the one that you have (perhaps reloading the operating system might help)... hehehe!

muntik ko na sugurin ang service center ng smartbro kahapon because down and net four days running dito until kahapon. for someone working online, it made my blood boil. pero okay na, bati na kami ulit.
ayan bili kasi ng iphone wala tuloy pambili ng laptop. haha

Di yata talaga recommended na pangdownload ang mga prepaid na yan. Mauubusan ka ng dugo. I used Smartbro for a very short time. It's useless even for browsing the internet even if I'm here in Manila. Wtf, di ba? To think na nasa capital ako ng Pinas. I'm now using Sun, but only for browsing too. It's faster but I wouldn't recommend that you use it for downloading. Napuputol.

Our Internet connection also has the pace of a turtle, running at 0.49kbps when we're paying for a 512kbps speed connection.
So I called up our ISP last weekend and threatened to discontinue their service. They'll be sending a technician raw. Haaayyy.
