It's been over 14 years since I've taken the LRT (Light Rail Transit).
Not much has changed since the last time I've set foot at their EDSA station:
- It is still overcrowded.
- Commuters still shove each other to get ahead.
- Some still have awful body odor.
- Though it is the fastest mode of public transport in the country, the LRT is still miles apart from its Southeast Asian counterparts.

the reason why ours suck is because tax money is used to support our politicians' spoiled brats and their mistresses!

nung nagwowork pa ko sa malaysia, nakakwentuhan ko yung isang taxi driver, dati, inggit na inggit daw ang mga ibang asian sa mga taga pinas. kase daw, yung mga concerts lagi satin hineheld, tapos ayun nga isa daw tayo na nagkaroon ng mrt sa pinas. pero ngayon, napagiwanan na daw tayo.

Huy, meron na kayang aircon sa LRT coaches at umaabot na ito sa may SM North! But true, dalawang lanes pa rin; at ramdam pa rin talaga ang congestion sa Manila.
Mag-request ka na ng shuttle service na ihahatid kayo papuntang office at ihahatid din pauwi araw-araw :)

Except for the aircon and some new coaches, wala ngang massive improvement ang serbisyo ng LRT1. They really should manage the crowd especially during rush hour. Nagkakasakitan pagbaba at pagsakay. Ay, feeling ko diyaryo or AM radio ang blog mo. Hahaha.

best lang siya pag sobrang nagmamadali ka sa patay na oras. kala ko dati sa movie lang yun halos dumikit n ayang mukha sa salamin. totoo pala.
