Raft3r has not set foot in mainland US mainland in more than a decade.
I can still fondly recall my first visit there.
Raft3r was fresh out of college, unemployed, and roamed the streets of Chicago like an idiot. It was awesome!
Back then, Baywatch and Pam Anderson were hot items.
I remembered stepping out of O’Hare International Airport expecting all chicks to have smashing Baywatch knockers and slimmed down sexy bodies.
What appeared before me were big boned ladies and overweight Americans.
The US sure knows how to market their country overseas.
Raft3r was completely devastated.

Hahaha! I remember my LA-based fat aunt and granny said if I go to the States, I'd be put in the category of malnourished people kasi ang mga sexy daw dyan yung may refrigerator type na katawan tulad nila hehe:) Now it's your choice, either pick sexy or malnourished while there hehehe:)

Haha nothing has changed a decade later? Or bigger pa sila ngayon? I guess may advantage rin ang mahirap. Less chances of being obese.
chicago! i want to go back there. dyan lang naman ako nakapunta pa kasi :) pano naman hindi magiging higante ang mga tao dyan eh yung meal nila for one person eh pang buong pamilya na dito sa pinas :P
