thanks for putting the democracy Video Challenge in your blog/post. thanks to all your friends who took the time to watch the videos & vote. the 3-minute film was simple but thought provoking. i sure hope we would continue to spread the word so they can get more votes & win. para naman matabunan muna yung ke pacquiao at halili-kho video. :) anyway, we had some sort of a press conference pala yesterday here at the public affairs section where we invited the film directors (aissa & migs) & actor (alastair)& some people from the media. U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney congratulated Melissa “Aissa” Peñafiel and Miguel Ocampo, the producers of a short-film about democracy.
Aissa Peñafiel and Miguel Ocampo, according to Ambassador K. Kenney, have made “a wonderful achievement” in a competition where more than 900 entries from 95 countries participated. Amb said Peñafiel and Ocampo’s three-minute video “shows the real power of Filipinos increasingly in the film and creative arts industry.”
