Raft3r’s mom is pissed.
Our household help for over two years has abandoned us.
She left without even saying goodbye.
She just packed her things and left in the middle of the night. She took our house keys, too.
Let us examine the reasons why she left our Mali Bay residence:
- We treated her like family.
- She was required to join us for dinner and attend most family functions.
- Her sleeping quarter was air-conditioned and had cable TV.
- She was provided a mobile phone for convenience.
- Salary was above average.
- She took days off whenever she wanted.
Is it too much to expect a little gratitude from someone? Unless you’re Angel Locsin, of course.
Post script: My mom received a love note from our ex-household help yesterday asking for forgiveness.

Sakit yata yan ng ibang househelp. Di marunong magpaalam ng maayos. Basta na lang umaaalis. Dami kong naririnig na ganyan.

baka she didn't get what she expected to have as house helper? A little nagging, late salary, a different set of food etc.. lol

i had several househelps na. I even blogged about my experiences with them. Ganun talga, bka nahiya na sa inyo ska baka di nyo payagan hehehe. Pero khit na di nyo siya payagan, dapat nagpaalam pa din right?
Sarap naman maging househelp sa inyo. Bka pag nalaman yn ng ibang househelps ko noon, bka iniwan din ako at lumipat sa inyo :)
The biggest concern is the house keys. Bakit kelangang dalhin iyon?

Baka naunahan sya ng takot kaya di na nagpaalam. OR baka lumipat na sa ibang amo at kelangan magumpisa na kagad sya dun?
Pwede ba ako na lang apply sa inyo? Hahaha. Pero totoo, sakit ata ng househelp ang ganyan, kami rin nakailan na ganyan.

what did angel do ba? parang di ko alam un ... yeah, change the lock of your house, un din una kong naisip eh... ang sarap nga maging househelp sa inyo ah... baka may emergency naman lang... dala niya susi, baka kasi balak niya bumalik agad sana without you knowing she was gone.. hehehe :D

Some househelpers are such pain in the neck. Do you know how many times I changed help during our stay here? Four times! Count yourself lucky you don't have a Tunisian maid!
If you did, you would always have to put them in their place because they make their own schedule, they listen only to the men of the house, they choose their own cleaning products, they do things their own way and many other headaches. If you put them in their place, they pout and do their work grudgingly that in the end, you will get fed up and just fire them.
Hahaha! You see how annoying it can be? Why can't we just programmable robots?
