An eight in the morning appointment with local police authorities actually means an hour later.
And if you are really lucky (like Raft3r), your country loving policeman will arrive at the precinct wearing casuals and will take another thirty minutes to put on his uniform.
When the police officer was finally ready to proceed with our meeting, he had nothing new to offer. The car remains missing and the police certificate my insurance company is waiting for is still eons away from being processed.
If their mandate is to serve and protect, how come Raft3r feels so violated and unsatisfied?
Post script: This occured prior to Raft3r's fist fight with the carnapper.

at least your case moved forward even if it's just a little.
you are sooo brave! :-)
bedon, Hehe. Hindi naman. Pero salamat.
Seryoso ba ito, dude?
anonymous, Yes. Serious. 100%.
andy b, Kahit saan nga ako lumugar talo ako eh.
Gamitin mo na kasi ang Malibay and embassy connections mo to speed things up. Or maybe nothing unusual yun sa tin...I mean, our police aren't exactly famous for being effective.
wendy, Yan ang susunod kong kwento. Hehe
love ur blogs denoy!
natyjane, I love you too.
goodluck sa laban!
'yung akin nasa korte na for resolution : )
in that case, my life is in danger.
ahmer, Pag kelangan mo tulong lemme know. Baka may assistance kaming maibigay sayo.
Pulis patola nga naman, oo.
melchor, Naku. Sinabi mo pa!
Hi Rafter!!! Kmusta na? First time ko uli bumisita after ilang months pero sad post nabasa ko. What happened? Buti naman nahuli mo un carnapper! Ang galing mo naman.
That happened din sa hubby ko. He was held up naman pero my hubby and another passenger ng jeep ang nakahuli sa holduppers. Mejo mabagal mga police nun time na un. Sad. :(
I'm back to blogging and visiting friends! :) Cheer up! Mahalaga, safe ka. Ingat!
beth, You're back! Welcome, welcome!
Gusto lang non ng lagay!
anonymous, Naku. Nagkamali sya.
can't wait for the next post... hehe!
hipchick, Next post is up. Hehe
I would feel the same pag ganoon ang service, very slow talaga.
Kaya I agree with Wendy, gamitin mo yong mga connections mo.
eden, Nakaka-frustrate talaga.
patience my boy, patience.
...o kaya suntukin mo na lang din!
and oh, yung latest post ko inspired by you LOL
prinsesamusang, Nyahaha. Salamat, salamat. Inspired talaga, ha? Hehe
Aww... hindi pa pala nahahanap yung car mo? so sorry to hear about it dude!
btw, you're also included on my post "tagged"
fiel-kun, Naku. Salamat. Pero pasensya na. I really don't do tags. Sorry, sir.
ano kuya den? ikaw humuli sa carnapper?
jerick, Y-E-S. Yes.
Dapat title ng blog mo, "You won't like me when I'm angry."
anonymous, Nyahaha. Pwede, pwede. Hehe
oh well, hate to typecast the authorities in our country pero...
1. with the proper connection, even without any education/training one can serve (may it be thru being an officer, or a politician.. *hehe*)
2. one needs to give out money in order for his case to be resolved
ang saya. :D *lol*
raYe, Ang saya talaga! Hehe
They are the bad (rotten?) tomatoes in the basket. I still believe that there are good ones in the police force.
So many posts, I can't keep up. hiningal ako. nyahaha
Sad but true. Namiss kita, chief!
