New Miserable Experience

An eight in the morning appointment with local police authorities actually means an hour later.

And if you are really lucky (like Raft3r), your country loving policeman will arrive at the precinct wearing casuals and will take another thirty minutes to put on his uniform.

When the police officer was finally ready to proceed with our meeting, he had nothing new to offer. The car remains missing and the police certificate my insurance company is waiting for is still eons away from being processed.

If their mandate is to serve and protect, how come Raft3r feels so violated and unsatisfied?

Post script: This occured prior to Raft3r's fist fight with the carnapper.

Gamitin mo na kasi ang Malibay and embassy connections mo to speed things up. Or maybe nothing unusual yun sa tin...I mean, our police aren't exactly famous for being effective.

wendy, Yan ang susunod kong kwento. Hehe

That happened din sa hubby ko. He was held up naman pero my hubby and another passenger ng jeep ang nakahuli sa holduppers. Mejo mabagal mga police nun time na un. Sad. :(

kung mabigat ang nakalaban mo, kasi kamo english speaking, baka his money talked. nung nilooban ang unit ko noon, i said na ako lang ang nakatira sa house and that sana they can search for fingerprints other than mine baka may lumabas. ang sagot sa akin eh di na pwede kasi nahawakan ko na ang ilang parts ng bahay pag uwi ko. natural, bahay ko yun. yung di akin na print, malamang sa isang stranger kasi di naman naghahawak yung pulis ng kung anu ano hinayaan nya ko maghahawak.

Raft3r said...

I would feel the same pag ganoon ang service, very slow talaga.
Kaya I agree with Wendy, gamitin mo yong mga connections mo.

Raft3r said...

eden, Nakaka-frustrate talaga.

oh well, hate to typecast the authorities in our country pero...
1. with the proper connection, even without any education/training one can serve (may it be thru being an officer, or a politician.. *hehe*)
2. one needs to give out money in order for his case to be resolved

ang saya. :D *lol*

Raft3r said...

raYe, Ang saya talaga! Hehe
