I guess it’s true what they say that Filipinos can be found anywhere in the world.Even in a remote place like Majuro, Pinoys are aplenty. Raft3r ran into a bunch of them in the streets. I ended up having Dreyer’s ice cream with my kababayans (countrymen).
First time I did my grocery in Payless, I noticed an entire aisle was devoted solely to Filipino products. The sign read “Pinoy Section.” Raft3r was beaming with pride.
There was Chippy, Sky Flakes, Zesto, Boy Bawang, 555 Sardines, Likas Papaya, and the like. I couldn’t believe it. It was like a dream or something. If the store carried Belo Essentials, I would just lose it.
Even on local cable, they have the “Knowledge Channel.” Slowly, I channel surfed and prayed I don’t see starlet Locsin in “Lobo.”
God was kind. There was no TFC (The Filipino Channel).

hey raftr. i like the icon of this post. are there more where this came from? i'm planning to start a blog but wondering that if I do borrow some photos which aren't mine, would I have to ask permission from the source or would it suffice to give photo credits straight away?
Raft3r parang ayaw mo na makakita ng pinoy na tao at products ha? hahahah....punta ka dito sa bandang south part ng america sobrang dalang talaga ng mga pinoy...nakatago lahat hahahah....Lalo na siguro pag pumunta ka ng LA at NJ para ka ng nasa pinas talaga LOL.

pixie27, Nyahaha. I love my Pinoy stuff. Nagulat lang ako na hanggang d2 meron! Hehe. I expected Pinoy goodies sa mga big states pero hindi gaya d2. Kaya lalo nakakatuwa. =)

kakainggit,dito kulang pinoy stores in the city! kelangan ko pa mag train to get to the closest pinoy store...so minsan lang ako magboneless bangus or magtocino... i know pwede naman timplahin if marunong ako magluto, but not.
